Photo 1: 9 Dispro's in Huntsville Lock on their way to Mary Lake, Photo 2: 40 Dispro's lined up at lunch, my Electric Dispro is the one in view , Photo 3: The Electric Dispro beached at Mary Lake at lunch
"SIDEROADS OF MUSKOKA" Full Steam Ahead There is just out a brilliant article on George & Myrtle Lang. It tells a story of their love affair with boats. This is a great article on the building of the Steamboat by Dawn Huddlestone and is a must read. Here it is below! Make sure you pick up a copy as the magazine is definitely worth a read.
25th April 2009 My first "ACBS" Spring Workshop Tour. I was really happy with the number of people who took to time to visit my Workshop. This was my first year & I met some wonderful people. Thanks to everyone who came! "The Muskokan Newspaper" What a surprise on my birthday! They featured a photo of me sailing one of my Acorn's on Mary Lake on the front page. Big Thanks to them again!
7th August 2009 George Lang & his Steamboat attended the Rosseau Classic Cruise on 2nd August. Bev McMullen took a great photo & here it is from The Muskoka Sun Newspaper. Big Thanks to them! To see more on this boat click here
July The steamboat was launched! Her owner has worked long and hard on the engine and she is looking wonderful.
April The building of a Wee Rob Canoe spec boat has been put on hold temporarily, but watch this space for more on current projects and the Canoe... September "Scouts Canada" Scouts Canada have a new advertising campaign. They used a Harwood Water Craft boat, our 10ft flat bottomed skiff in one of those adverts! July "The Muskokan Newspaper" In the 5th July edition of the newspaper the Editor wrote an article about being taken sailing on an Albacore. His article explained how difficult and complicated the whole experience was. I felt compelled to write a response to the Editor as a sailor who finds sailing a simple pleasure. I was delighted that the Editor decided to publish my letter. January "The Muskokan Newpaper" Has a special Toronto Boat Show Edition of it's paper. A great start to 2007! August "Muskoka Magazine". I had a wonderful article in this magazine (These may take a while to open individually, due to graphic size) Click to open each part.... Part 1, Part 2, Part 3, Part 4, Part 5 Spring "Beyond the City Magazine" I had a feature in the first issue
